| Me too Winnie! You know we were so happy with the gifts we received and to be honest they were simple things but mom always made it all seem magical for us. I miss the simpler Christmases. Everything is so over the top sometimes now it seems. |

I, too, miss the simpler times. I think when I make something for people now, they do not care for homemade.
We always loved what we got for Chritmas and it seemed like a LOT! |

People don’t realize how much of a treasure homemade items are! It’s special and I think people are very special to put all the time into making them

I too long for the simpler times. My quest to simplify my life is an ongoing challenge. The world is so complicated at times, telling us what we "must" have, "should" do and be.
Oh well, It's December .... a month filled with opportunities to celebrate. |

| I love snowmen. I just pulled 20 smowmen squares from the Christmas 10" squares we swapped several years ago and sewed together for a quick Christmas quilt for Dawson. At first I didn't think I'd find enough with snowmen, but I did. I had a couple extra fabrics from my stash I could cut from, if needed. I only have a week to finish it. LOL! |
