I read only at night usually before bed. Too many other things I have to do during the day.
My favorite Authors are Kristen Hannah and Nora Robert’s. I love historical fiction and books that go back in time.
The book and Author that got me interested with books about time travel was A Knight in shiny Armour by Jude Deveraux copyright 1989. It is still my most favorite book.

If y’all want to have a book exchange let me know.

Big Hugs,
Debbie

I have to sit out on swaps for a bit but in the future I'd be interested in a book exchange. I love all kinds of books except horror. I need my sleep at night! Yesterday I just finished an amazing book called Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. It's the amazing true story of Louis Zamperini - a WWII POW. I HIGHLY recommend it! It's also a movie but I think books are always better :)

This isn’t really a swap. I was just going to list books I am finished with and see if anyone else would like to read them. Then I would mail it to them.
That’s all.
Easy, Peezy!!

I am fixing to start reading “Where the Crawdads Sing”. I haven’t read anything for a while now, but just saw where it has been made into a movie coming out in July. It has been in my stash for a while so I need to hurry up before the movie comes out! If anyone is interested in this book when I finish, just let me know!

That sounds like a great idea Debbie! When we get more cows putting milk in the tank again I can add some books to the list to send out also.

I am going through books here preparing for a move this summer. I may have books to share too if any Wildflowers are interested.

Sharing books sounds like a fun idea :)

Last year I read just about everything that Jane Kirkpatrick had written. I was able to read most of them on my Libby app on my iPad. It was so easy to return and borrow a new one all with a couple of clicks! And also easy to read off of the iPad while I was on my treadmill...no having to turn pages, just touch the screen.
This past month I found a new Amish book author and have been reading her stories. She has short, 3 or 4 book series that are fun. Her name is Shelley Shepard Gray. Unfortunately, I can't find #2 of the current series so I started into another one.

My mother in law loves Amish books and I read pretty much everything I can get my hands on, so I've read a lot of them too! I believe I've read some Shelley Shepard Grey. That name sounds very familiar. If you like Amish and mystery - my mother in law got me hooked on a series by Linda Castillo. The main character is a small town police chief who used to be Amish (she's a woman). It's also set in a fictional town in Holmes County in eastern Ohio - which is a huge Amish community. Each book is a murder case but the series builds on Kate's life (the main character). So they can be read out of order. I'm all caught up and have to wait for the new books to come out. My mother in law is the best - she orders them and gives them to me first. I read a lot faster than she does LOL!

Heather, I'm going to look for that series. I started a new Shelley Gray series and I'm already on #3. This one is an Amish murder mystery. I wasn't sure that I was going to like it but I was hooked after about 5 minutes into book 1.
Years ago I read in Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult. I remember liking the book and then saw the movie on Lifetime or something like that. It was a lot darker than the book. I don't like scary stuff and I remember the movie ending kind of giving me the creeps.

I've read a lot of Jodi Picoult books - my mother in law loves her! I don't recall that one. I'll have to look and see if she has it. I always like books better than the movies. My husband and I wanted to go to the movies one time and the 1st Harry Potter movie was the only thing that looked good. We enjoyed it so I bought the second book. Before long I became one of the people waiting for the next book to be published! I still went and watched all the movies with my Husband (he's not a reader) but they were never as good as the books.

Hello Wildflowers, here are 4 books I have finished and I loved them all.
Kristin Hannah’s books are fun easy and quick reads.
Pam Jenoff writes historical fiction, the Lost Girls of Paris is great. I learn a lot from all my historical fiction books I read, that’s why I enjoy them so much. I took a picture of the fly page so you can read what it is about.

If you wish to read any of these let me know and I will send them out. You can pass them on to someone else when you are finished. I wrote my initials in the each so you know I read them.
Happy Reading!

Big Hugs,
Debbie

Sounds great! I'll be sorting through some more boxes in a little while and I know I have some books up there. I'll post them on here before I get rid of anything. My sister in law has a couple of my books I know some of you would love so I'll show those when she's finished as well.
