May is officially here! (how did that happen so quickly?)
May is one of my favorite months...the weather is getting warmer, we have longer evenings, I have some flowers that are finally blooming, things are greening up and grass harvest is still aways off...
I just remembered this morning about when I was in the first grade and we made May baskets for our moms. I got off of the bus and snuck over to the front door and hung it there and rang the doorbell for my mom. She was so tickled!
Jubilee is next weekend as is Mother's day and some wedding anniversaries. My daughter took me to a vintage market sale a couple of hours away on Friday for my mom's day surprise. They had over 75 vendors and it was held in an OLD church building. It was a lot of fun! She found some cool things for her house and I got a pair of handmade earrings from a jewelry vendor. They have another show in August and I might just have to sneak away to that one when the time comes! |

I really like your Charlie Brown and Snoopy poster
I remember teaching little kids to draw. Two artists were my examples of people who drew such simple people, and objects...even a first grader could "copy" sort of. Charles Schultz was one, the other was Tomie DePaolo.spelling???

Happy May Day Everyone. Debbie I am so jealous I would love to go antiquing/Junking with you. The Saturday before Mother’s Day hubby is taking me Antiquing/Junking as I need a couple things for the house. We have 50% chance of rain but that’s alright we will be in door a lot!
