Yes - I can't wait for fall here!
I put out a few pumpkins this week to hopefully coax some fall weather to come down to South Texas. Our mornings are a bit less humid and so I've been able to sneak out in the early morning and do some weeding.
My sister and I made the decision to add rain gutters and rain barrels to our house so I've been prepping for that - we will be ready for fall rains (fingers crossed) soon.

| Loving our early fall weather. I put out my pumpkins and mums a couple weeks ago. The leaves are starting to turn and there are many on the ground already. We are heading to our local Apple Festival on Saturday. |

| Fall is most definitely here. Our trees are putting on a spectacular show. I decorated last week with pumpkins, scarecrows and mums. We just brought the square straw bales home so I will have to add a few of those as well. The soybeans are loosing their leaves rapidly so I would imagine the farmer will soon be ready to start that harvest, as much as I try to prep for that I am never ready for 2 months of 16 hour work days. |

| Happy Fall y’all! I celebrated the first day of fall by having my first pumpkin spice latte, and also found a recipe to make my own pumpkin spice creamer. (I have just recently learned to drink coffee, lol) |

| Of all the things on that list - wearing your favorite boots is what I get excited most about for fall LOL! I LOVE all my boots - and I have plenty :) My least favorite thing is all these creepy spiders I keep walking into!!! I swear they see me coming and hurry up and put a web up in front of me, then laugh at my creeped out flip out! |

| Lol Heather, I agree. This time of year I make my husband walk in front of me when possible. If he’s not around, I get a large stick and wave it in front of me. I don’t care how crazy I look, haha. |

I can't believe it is fall already! But I am embracing it because I love all things pumpkin spice! I think it helps me transition from summer to fall.

| I just love love love all the fall pics!! Its about the only way ill see any fall here!! Hit 90 yesterday. The grass is browning up because its dry but the nights are about 8 degrees cooler! Yippee!! |
