We bought two big pumpkins and this weekend we will carve them and I will dry the pumpkin seeds as I just love them,
Have a happy day Wildflowers.

We carved last Sunday at my grandson's birthday party. I brought one home.
I want to get some to roast and roast the seeds. They are so good for us!

We have a guy from our county who likes to grow giant pumpkins. He just entered this one in a contest.

Wow, that’s the biggest I have ever seen. Can you imagine how many pumpkin seeds there are in the sucker?!

I've heard that 1 seed sells for over $100 for those kind of pumpkins (I haven't actually looked to see if it's true or not). I also heard that is a tremendous amount of work to grow them. They sure are amazing but I don't think I need that much pumpkin LOL! I wonder how many pies one of those could make?

Do you know what that guy does with them, Debbie?

Wow Debbie K, that pumpkin is about big enough for Cinderella’s carriage, lol.

It looks like it could be a carriage!
I’m not sure what he does with his pumpkins besides entering them in contests??
