Thank you, Marilyn, for the surprise in my mailbox today. It was a nice pick-me-up.

I am very sore this afternoon from my hip injection - it was supposed to be at 10:15, but the surgery center was running behind and I didn't get into the OR until 12:12. I think the doctor hit a different spot this time; he said he got the entire ball joint and I don't remember it being this sore last time (8 months ago). Ed gave up his recliner for me :-), I've got a package of frozen green beans on it, and I just took 2 Tylenol. I hope they kick in very quickly. LOL!

Thank-you Sherry and Marlee for the lovely Christmas cards!!

Marlee, your darling little notebook is perfect for keeping in my purse. I also loved how you used a brown bag as an envelope! That is a perfect idea for a useful item to use when you don't have an envelop. I always keep those brown bags on hand for craft purposes but I often need a way to send a card. Farmgirl ingenuity to the rescue!!

Sherry, I have never seen those cute little card tucks but they are so cute and perfect for sending!!

It is a steroid of some sort. I feel a LOT better this morning. The dr said I could have some pain and bruising for a week or so. He's a dr Ed used to assist as the surgical nurse.

By the way, I love the reusable "paper"towel you made. I was thinking of making some. I think I have somme off-white flannel for the backings.

My goal is to make some for each season of holiday. My dil took the first and second batches I made. I had given her some piggy ones for her birthday, since she loves pigs. She uses them for all sorts of things, I've been putting mine by the coffee pot. I gave Baylee a few autumn and a couple of Christmas ones which she used to decorate her nest.

I got beautiful Christmas Cards from Ruth, Carole, and Marilyn and Darlene!
Linda, I hope your better! My hubby had another CT scan today, waiting for the other Dr. to set up the probe in the next 4 weeks or so. He had blood work done yesterday, no results from anything yet.

Ladies thank you for the lovely Christmas cards. My Christmas Cards are in the mail hoping they make it in time for Christmas! Mail seems really slow this year! Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry about your hip Linda and hope you are on the mend, it must have been pretty bad for Ed to give up the recliner. Hugs, Maryellen

This is a photo of the cards I've received. Dianna, your little fawn, has been called by Hadlee, who said she wants to take it home with her tomorrow, after we open our gifts. Anyway...They are all so beautiful. Thank each of you. Merry Christmas! God bless you.

Debbie
Carole
Sherry and the cute quote
Ruth
I luv all my cards. And you all know me its time to make my Christmas card book this year.
I have several now.

Everyone one is very welcome for the little note pads, journals whatever you want to call them. I know I am not the only one that cant find a piece of paper to write on in the car when you need one. Ha!

I have used the little paper bag bottom for envelopes. I JUST LOVE THEM.
I had an epitome. to use paper bags to make journals. My sweet hubby found a machine to bind several bags together. With a plastic binding. It was a surprise. Call me butter because I am on a roll. Ha!

Merry Christmas everybody...
Hugs Marlee
