Sherry I included your name and Linda's when I sent that email last night because of the rain bands that usually spin off of to the left side of the eye of a hurricane.

So glad all is well with you Sherry. Have been praying for Marlee. It is still quite a strong storm that is headed into Arkansas. Praying for all those in its path.

Prayers have been going up for all in this awful storm!
I hope we hear from Marlee soon or from someone close to her. That storm hit hard in Louisiana!

Take everyone

Please Lord protect them all! Amen

Thanks everyone for your prayers and hugs. Yesterday went well - the doctor found no tears so no repairs needed. I had a subachromial decompression and distal clavical resection - the doctor removed some bone spurs and arthritis and freed up adhesions that were limiting range of motion. That's what I learn from marrying a nurse. Lol.

The shoulder block is wearing off some this morning and I can move my fingers and can feel some pressure on the shoulder this morning. Up until last night I could not feel or move my fingers on the right hand and they were very swollen; Ed adjusted the sling and ice attachment and did the exercise the Doctor told him to do before we went to bed. It was kind of funny, in that I couldn't feel anything on my hand and it Felt like it was in one place on my lap when it was in another. Ed said this is the feeling amputee patients get it's like a they still feel a limb that isn't there. And it would feel like my hand was clenched when my fingers were straight. Very different feeling.

Thanks, again.

Linda, Jim still has that with his finger at times. He is planning to have them do another surgery on the nerves in that finger as he still gets terrible pain from the nerves being to close to the sides of his half finger. (That's what the grandkids call it.)

So glad there were no tears. You are so lucky to have your own private nurse. Here's hoping you have a rapid and successful healing.

Thanks-you Denise for being so caring for all of us in this sweet HenHouse! Adding my prayers to everyone for your needs and struggles. Many here are getting over big surgeries or illnesses. This getting old is a big challenge! Thankfully my last week visit showed that the broken toe was healing well and no more visits are needed. It is amazing how much a little broken toe can hurt . Stay safe and take care everyone!

Thank you for all the prayers and hugs. Feeling pretty good today. Yesterday morning I had upset stomach from pain pill and spent time over the toilet bowl. Not fun. Constipated and wish that would go away. Slept well.

Linda -- I had the same problem with the pain pills for my back. I quit taking them due to the nausea and cooked up a big pot of prunes for the other problem.

Please pray for my great niece. Her baby girl may need to come into the world at least two weeks or more early. She will find out more on Wed. Please pray that both mom and that cutie pie baby will be ok.
