I'm just a natural born night owl. I don't drink coffee but have a bottle of diet Mountain Dew every morning as my doctor recommended I have caffeine due to my blood thinners causing headaches. I used to be caffeine-free....
We had our covid booster and flu shots today (yesterday now). I have an injury in one arm so I got both the shots in that arm. No sense messing up both arms. |

I just woke up early. 4:15 and can't shut my brain down to get back to sleep.
I don't drink anything caffeinated anymore. Unless we are out somewhere and I have tea.
Not good for the heart apparently. Does seem to calm me though.

Judith -
did you get the booster than covers multi-variants of COVID? Ed's son got it and had flu-like symptoms for 3 days. A friend of my sister the same. I want to get it but am a bit leary of the after-effects since I have reacted with a fever and slow say after to the other 2 shots and 2 boosters. Keep me posted, please.
We also need to get our flu shots. |

| I got the Pfizer that covers two of the variants. I have the same after effects as the previous four -- a sore arm, just like getting a tetanus shot. I would get it even if I had a more severe reaction as that would still be better than getting covid. I'm 80 and diabetic so I really really don't want to catch it. |

There is the smell of wood smoke in the air these days. Either people are using their fireplaces or woodstoves. It is chilly and we have had to have the heat on for a couple weeks now I think. |
