Don't remember if I shared this one if I shared this already but I've always liked this poem. Sounds cozy to me.

Had a nice day yesterday. Played games after dinner and watched a few Christmas movies. Fall decor is put away. Christmas bins are up from storage and waiting. I'll work on that later today.

Hello everyone,

Hard to believe that we are nearing the end of November. This last part of the year seems to be a blur to me. School has got me super busy ... time crunch at the moment. I'm not sure where to throw myself! lol

Besides school and full time work, I've only picked up my knitting needles for a few stitches here and there. It's been quiet on the social front. I just finished a couple of small projects.

Linda, cute idea for the chairs.

Denise, nice visuals you've been posting.

That's pretty much it for me. Re-reading this paragraph I become aware of how I lead such an exciting life! LOL Seriously, it's been all work and school making Carole a dull gal! lol

Cheers!

So grateful that mu brother in law, I keep calling him that, but he is more like my brother, and my nephew made it safely from Buffalo and back again. We had a great time together!
Also thankful that my daughter and family had safe travels to TN and back.
I just want to say I am grateful for each one of you here in the henhouse. You make it a joy to be here and with us being a small-ish group it is like having company stop by. Some we visit with often, others stop in when they can but I am so thankful that we have a place to come to on a smaller scale. It is a pleasure to share in each other's lives even if just in a small way.

Well we did it. Normally we always wait until Dec. 2nd as has been our tradition since our son was born 34 years ago. But things change and doing it alone this year I wanted to have it up for the grandkids to see and enjoy. The neighborhood is done up so pretty and we decided to join in. Haven't done anything outside yet. Sometimes when life changes your traditions change a little too.

Denise, your tree looks beautiful and I am sure the Grandkids were thrilled to find it up and lit. There is something magical and beautiful with a Christmas tree all lit up. And it makes a room extra cozy too.

Well we are at the last day of November and myThanksgiving cactus decided it was time to bloom. I have about 15 buds this year only 2 are open right now. But it has been a few years since it has had any flowers.

This is a Thanksgiving cactus according to its leaves but I have had it bloom at Christmas, valentines, and st. Patrick's
day all within that few months period and I have had years where it hasn't bloomed at all. I hope yours makes a beautiful display for you Darlene!

I will compare my cactus leaves to see what I’ve is. I have had it for years! I don’t remember which one it is.

Have a wonderful day Denise!

I purchased a small Christmas cactus and it just finished blooming . I am going to transplant it into a larger pot and see if I can grow another one like I had about 35 years ago. They are so beautiful when they get big and full of blooms.
