Happy 4th of July, Friends!

I have a question on merit badges…once I’ve accomplished a level, do I just send an email to MJF and include a short description of what I did? For example, the Shopping Green Badge beginner level…would I just write that I have collected the six bags and use them every time I go shopping? I hope this makes sense! Thanks for your help!! :)

Yes that is what you do. You could also take a photo of them. Make sure to send with Merit Badge in the subject line.

You can go to the Merit Badge page where they post all the merit badges earned and you can see what people turned in. Most only turn in what is asked for in the requiremetns.

I usually have gone overboard and have written a lot more because that's what I thought they wanted, but most people don't write as much.

Depending on the merit badge, I have also turned in completion of all three levels at the same time.

Congratulations Karen on getting started on your first badge ! Once you do one, it will be easier reporting future badge work. I always enjoy completing a badge and end up asking myself why I don't do more badge work?? Lazy is the first word that comes to my mind! LOL!!

Thanks, Winnie!! I sent in the application form for 4 or 5 badges. Now I’ll just have to wait and see… :)
