Topsy-Turvy Tomatoes

topsy-turvy tomatoes

Did you know that tomato plants can grow upside down in hanging pots? Turning them upside down allows you to conserve space, weed less, move plants with the sun, and harvest fruit right outside your door!

Just cut a 2" hole in the bottom of a big plastic planter. Line the bottom of the pot with stout fabric and cut a slit to feed your plant's root ball through. Insert the root ball up through the bottom, hang the pot, fill it with potting soil, tamp, and water.
