I think you might like this refreshing, yummy frosting! We do!

Strawberry ButterCream Frosting

1 box of powered sugar (1 Lb.--about 3 1/2 to 4 cups)
2 sticks butter (salted--softened NOT melted)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup (plus 2 tablespoons if needed) pureed frozen strawberries, thawed (sweetened in juice)

Whip it up in your mixer until fluffy. If it seems too stiff, add some more strawberry juice one tablespoon at a time until you get the creamy consistency you want.

Enjoy!

Hugs,
Maryjane Lee

I also suggest doing this kind of buttercream with butter, cream cheese, pureed strawberries, and strawberry extract, and powdered sugar, it's devine!

We are having a Linger-Longer at church on Sunday. This will be perfect to top the cupcakes I am going to make. :)
