I am hoping someone has MaryJane's homemade cooking oil spray recipe. I misplaced mine and would like to give it a try.

Thanks!

I had a mister/sprayer from pampered chef, but when I tried making my own spray, it just ended up plugging up. Maybe I did not have the right amount of ingredients either. I hope it works for everyone, and maybe i would try it again.

Thanks Grace, see a photo helps a lot. I will check the Williams & Sonoma in my town to see if they have it there.

This is the one I brought at Williams and Sonoma store... The one I spotted at Walmart was silver and called Mr Misto.

Just Pump the cap then remove the cap and spray.

I have a "Misto" pump spray bottle that I use... I fill it with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil,,, and when I need it, I pump the lid 6-7 times and spritz the EVOO on what ever I am working on.
You can find these olive oil pumps at Sanoma & Williams stores, also Walmart sells one. I am sure Target, J.C.Penny and any other store that sells kitchen cutlery and mini appliances carries the mister/spritzer.
Thanx for sharing the recipe..

Finally found my "MaryJane's Little Book of Favorite Farmgirl Secrets" last night and lo & behold the recipe was inside! It is simple and I want to find a nice glass spray bottle to use for it. The recipe is:

"Make your own DIY Natural Cooking Spray: Just mix one part extra virgin olive oil with five parts distilled water into a glass spray bottle. Shake well and spritz."

I didn’t know she had one either. If you find it, please share here because I am interested in trying it out.
