Today is a perfect day for home made potato chips. :)
And that's just what I made!

I used Trader Joe's garlic olive oil, LOIMU Dill Sea Salt flakes and thin sliced 2 medium red potatoes.
( I use cold pressed extra virgin olive oil)
I tossed the potatoes in the oil in a Ziploc type bag, mixed well then added about 2 TBLSP of the salt.. again shook/ mixed well, and laid the potato slices on the 3 trays in my Air fryer. Used the French fry setting and after the 15 min of cooking time I rotated the trays and set for another 15 min.
They may not look the prettiest but dang,,, they were delish!

Nom nom! I didn't get an air fryer, but got a convection toaster oven instead. I LOVE that thing! And yes, that's how I make tater chips.

Have y'all ever done green bean fries? They are just to die for. Take fresh whole green beans, dip in an egg or egg substitute (we use a flaxseed "egg", as we do not eat eggs), and then roll in seasoned panko crumbs. Spray very lightly with oil, and bake until golden brown (I don't remember the time offhand...sorry)

Eat with smoky ketchup, which is just ketchup with a tiny dab of liquid smoke mixed in. YUM.

Thanks Grace. I’ll have to check out the air fryers then and see what all the excitement is about. I would love to make new food creations.

FYI,,, if you don't have an air fryer.. you are missing out...
Just ask Nicole aka texdane...
She uses hers alot!
I love mine. I cook fried chicken, pork cutlets, and I use the rotisserie alot...
I have the style that has the 3 trays.. not the little basket style.

Krista, I used thin red skinned potatoes... Just washed and sliced (don't peel) on the mandolin on the thin setting.
1 medium potato per serving.
Easy peasy.

These look so yummy! I don’t have an air fryer so I may need to try the oven. What kind of potatoes did you use? I have some ready to be dug up in the garden.
