Ok ladies, raise your hand if you own a Singer Feather Weight sewing machine!!

What do you love most about it?

Is it your daily sewer?

What was the last thing you recently sewed with it?

I sewed a lap quilt

thanks Grace and oh yes I had already looked at the shop. I found out what the one extra foot I have is used for. My aunt is sending me a couple extra bobbins. I asked her how a button maker would work on a straight stitch machine. She said it moves the fabric back and forth. Thanks Dawn it will be an adventure.

I own 3 - and love sewing on them. Well, one I haven't used yet - want to get it serviced first.

I wish I had one and it worked. It just looks so perfect for a sewer like me who does simple projects. Plus I love the vintage vibe it gives off.

Love my featherweight. Dear Hubby got it for me for Christmas a few years ago and it runs great and easy to take places

There is never a road so long that there isn't a curve in it.

I've owned more than 30 Featherweights. I have kept the one that no one took care of. She runs so beautifully and seeing that I had owned so many pretty ones, this little orphan deserved to have a bath, cleaned inside and out, new oil, new lube. It truly sews the best ever.Love to use her for doing my vintage quilts.

It appears the whole thread has disappeared. Perhaps the Supreme Court has declared Featherweights illegal.
