Does anyone else get giddy over fabric?
I was able to mask-up and run away from home yesterday.. and while DH ran into the ACE Hardware store I was able to run into JoAnns fabric store in the same strip Mall..

and tho' I have plenty of fabric for mask making,, I couldn't resist these... especially the Hedge Hog print!
Needles to say, I will be making a few more masks just because...
I finished up a Baseball print for hubby and now I will make a football themed one.. as for the pigs, my grand kiddos are going to love them and the Hedge Hog is for me!

I am looking forward to MaryJane's Nov/Dec magazine to 'borrow' her mask pattern... hmm, another excuse to buy for silly fabric!

Ruth, every once in a blue moon I find yardage at my 2 favorite Thrifts,, I love finding 1-2yard length for a dollar or two...
I have a grand girlie who loves to craft with fabric so I especially keep my eyes open.. I have also bought flat sheets for quilt backings and for using for crochet rag rugs.

Grace, I love the fabrics you picked out and the masks you made. I just finished and mailed off a new batch of masks for my daughter (a first grade teacher) for Halloween, Fall Season, Christmas, Winter, Valentines and Mickey Mouse theme. With half the students in the classroom and the other half are online masks are mandatory so why not have fun.

Yep,, I just put mine in a bowel of boiling water, a drop or 2 of Lysol sanitizer.. let soak for awhile,, then rinse in uber hot water.. and hang dry.
I think tonight (I have a small batch of masks that need to be washed).. I might add some fresh lavender buds in
the rinse water.. just because.. heeheehee...

Those new fabrics sure made up into adorable masks!! It is fun to see other people with clever fabric masks for the seasons etc. Plus the fabric ones are washable.

I loooove fabric! It represents creative potential to me. The biggest problem i have is finding time to play with projects.

I learned while in Germany last December that hedgehogs are a Germany mascot of sorts. Right?

Those are cute fabrics Grace! The piggy’s are adorable. Have you thought about donating some to the schools? I’m not sure what your schools are doing there, but my sons school sent out an email asking for donations of masks for the kids that forgot to bring theirs to school. They were also reminding the parents to send their kids with them. I tie Stryder’s right to his backpack and they won’t even let him on the bus without his. So we always make sure we are masked up with the bus pulls up.
