Well, that does sound really weird I know.
I have a wonderful, organic cotton comforter on the bed . . and a kinda pricey one.
It developed those little fabric "pills" all over it. I have one of those nifty little clothes shavers which works really well on clothes. But it just wasn't gutsy enough to tackle the pills on the bed.
Sooooo, I dug out the Oster electric hair clippers . . you know the kind that you can trim hair nicely, or even give a buzz cut with.
I "shaved" my comforter. That worked like a charm! Had more "oomph" for the job.

Do you ladies think this would work for a pilling sweater too? I bought one at Goodwill that could really use it!

Yup . . . sounds weird. But I'm always up for trying things that work. I'm sure my hubby would have had things to say had he seen me, but he didn't . . :)

That surely sounds wierd. LOL. If my hubby sees me doing something like that, he'll really think I lost it. LOL. But, I shall give it a try. Thanks for the tip.

Very good idea! I have a sweater that pills up. I think I'm going to go swipe my husband's clippers and give it a go.
After he goes to work, of course.
