Hello Ladies, I am a wannabe farm girl living in Rural Ontario (Canada). My hubby and I are creating a food forest on our property and we are looking into animals (chickens and rabbits)... just wanted to say "Hi" and I am so excited to find such a fabulous resource! The best information is from those with experience!

Hello Lacy, you asked what kind of farm we have, well I will tell you.

We grow: Wheat
Soybeans
Corn

We raise: Cattle
Sheep

We farm with my hubbys brother, it use to be in thirds when my mom and dad in-law were still living. We just lost mom in-law year and a half ago. Really do miss her, we became friends and we loved to go shopping together. She was such a hoot, God rest her soul.

So where are you and your husband planning to start with your farm? There is always so many possibilitys. (sp)

Take care and will talk to ya later.

Netty

Hi Netty,
What kind of farm do you run? My grand plan includes upgrading to a "real" farm.

Hey LadyVC, So glad you joined up, this is the best group of people to get to know. Good luck with your farm. I live on a farm with my husband and 2 of our kids, a lot of work, but well worth it.

Talk to ya later
