Isn't this pincushion just adorable. I love it! Fran you are very talented. I get so many compliments on it. The way you have the little pair of scissors attached to the cup handle is so sweet. I will treasure this pincushion forever. Thank you so much for making it for me. I love the pink fabric you used. It is perfect!!!!
Thank you for posting pictures. I really wanted to share this beauty with my farmsisters.

Posted - Jul 31 2012 : 2:41:56 PM Afternoon, ladies. I got Debbie's pincushion out to her earlier this month (I was soooo late! Iam horrible!) and she sent me an email saying she needed me to post pics. I don't have pics of the add-on gifts but I sent with it a collection of postcards from Ga & NC. A bar of homemade soap and a beaded bracelet & heart shaped ornament, both made by me. :)
.JPG) I found the tea cup in a little thrift shop near here. Its a good bit smaller than a normal teacup but not as small as an expresso cup. I really wish it had a saucer but I thought it was soo cute! Debbie, told me she loves the colors pink & green and anything shabby chic so I thought it was the perfect base for her pincushion. My only set back was I couldn't find a cotton fabric that had a pattern that worked for me so I used silk fabric instead. I think it works way better than cotton could of.

Posted - Jun 07 2012 : 09:46:27 AM Hey, Debbie! I got it late yesterday & was waiting for some good sunlight to take the picture you asked for in your letter. My house is just too dark for good detailed pics & your pin cushion is sooooooo AWESOME! I love everything you sent, but Iam really impressed with the pincushion. :)
Iam almost done with your pincushion...Iam just not all that happy with the fabric I used. I think Iam going to be bold & use a silk fabric I have instead. Shouldn't take to long to make the change once I get off lazy bum. :D
I'll take that pic for you in a few minutes after I get my son's lunch put together.

Shannon, your package came yesterday, and WOW! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the pincushion - it reminds so much of some items my great-grandmother used to make. What a treasure! Also, I love the pineapple strawberry and the beautiful pastel dishcloth. The little tin of pins and note cards will sure come in handy, and so will the zinnias - I need them to companion plant with my kale to keep the cabbage eating beasties out of my garden.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful and heartfelt gift!!!

Posted - May 15 2012 : 2:33:13 PM Hi Kathy, Ladies, you really have to have a look see at what this FG created! How cute is he??? Kathy, had no idea that I collect wacky frogs of all sorts. She really out did herself. The picture doesn't really show how cute he is. He's hanging from a spring green lily pad. He's body is out of dark green fabric & the pocket mouth is rosy red. How cute! You'd be able to keep sewing things in there. But the best part is his eyes that stick out. I was hoping for a pin cushion & instead received a addition to my collection. Thanks for your sewing skills, creative juices but especially for waiting for the mail! I'll treasure him!!! Hugs Judy

Posted - May 10 2012 : 05:52:38 AM Thank You Kristen for the delightful pkg. A vintage biscuit cutter is perfect to add to my collection, canning season is just around the corner and the recipe keeper and cookbook will come in handy. I like the pin cushions I can store things in the bottom! I love your little seed packets, very clever idea!
