oh hens how i have missed you all...i am home for just 24 hours picking up some tools & supplies before i head back tot he farm....i am doing very well & have gotten pretty good at cooking with the woodstove & so enjoying the peace there. the kids are doing great & the baby chicks are growing 7 too cute for words. I have gotten some of the juck & trash cleaned up in two large barns but still have tons of stuff to keep me busy for the year....i now have my own mail box so my address is:
Michele' Preston
130 Napper Rd
westport, NY 12993

i want to thank all the wonderful hens who have been writing me & the wonderful treats you have sent.....i go up to a week without seeing anyone so the mail is wonderful but I am getting better at understanding when the chickens (kids) talk to me.

prudence still follows me complaining about the other hens...just can't seem to make her happy.....lol

thomas was able to get off for 4 days from his military classes so he surprised me late wednesday night so am happy to see him, I won't see him again until around dec 22 so am enjoying being with him. We worked together today cutting wood & stacking it...sounds silly but it was wonderful having us working together.

of all the things I miss is being here with you all, everyday I think about you all & wonder if you are are all ok.....i won't be on again until maybe late Dec but wanted to say hello, I miss you & love many of you.....

Hey Michelle. So glad to know you are doing fine and sound so happy. I kinda lost track of when you left because I was away for a while to be with my Mother. Was just wondering about you last week. Now I know you did it and you are safe and happy.
Have fun....

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
