AMAZING! I would love to get into this but am so scared of making a mistake. How did you find your inspiration and can you recommend some good tutorials or give us some advice and tips on how to get started?
Thank you so much! <3

Hi Everyone!

I saw this post and went to You Tube to learn more. What a great idea! What is so cool is there really isn't any rules. I think I may have to try this. Debra you are very very talented. Thanks for sharing your art and this idea.

Our church is doing it too only not in a Bible. We are journaling once a week about a specific verse the leader gives us. It starts this week. We use an empty sketchbook.

What a delightful idea! I had never heard of it. I was just imagining if someone came across a Bible that had been enhanced so and how meaningful it would be for them! Very cool.

P.S. I'd have to buy a Bible suitable for journaling. The one I have is a Ryrie study Bible that is falling apart, but I love it!

Debra, our church has just started hosting a weekly bible study/journaling group. It has been a great success. What medium do you use to do your lion? Is that water color? I am interested in trying whatever technique you used. We have used stickers, clipart out of our church bulletins, washi tape, etc. I love it.
