I've been missing in action for a while. As some of you know my husband has been battling cancer for 3 years.

He passed April 27, 2017 at home. We had just returned home from a two week trip to Texas to visit his family. Thank goodness we went when we did. The trip wore him out.

Thankfully he had everything in order and arranged so I would not have a lot of tasks to complete after his passing.

He was cremated and I took him back to Texas for the service. My mother and daughter went with me. Was a stressful but comforting trip. He will be missed by many.

I've been off work about 6 weeks now through caring for him and his passing. I go back to work on the 15th of May.

I'll slowly clean up, clean out...and turn my face to the sun. Looking forward to summer. I'll get back into swaps one day soon. Just need time I guess.

Have a wonderful rest of your week and upcoming weekend!

It was 4 weeks yesterday. I'm feeling better, the pups are feeling better, and the sun is finally shining in Michigan. I'll plant the garden this weekend and I think start a butterfly garden. It was something we talked about last year but didn't get around too. I'm looking forward to planting :) Have a wonderful weekend ladies!
