I have been a subscriber to Mary Jane's Magazine since 2010 and haven't missed an issue since. Haven't gotten rid of one either! :)
I joined the Sisterhood a year ago and have now finally got around to introducing myself.
While I live in a larger urban city, my husband and I also have acreage a few hours away. About 20 years ago we nicknamed it Left Field!. As of the end of this month we will be retired and spending our coming summer as 'farmers' in the BC Interior. I am so excited to put my farmgirl skills to work, and to connect with some of you!

Welcome Lianne from a fellow Canadian who presently live in Northeastern NY - I'm originally from Montreal. Great place to hang out! Grab a cuppa and enjoy the company.

Congratulation on your new life chapter. Cheers!

Debbie, We are near Kamloops, and Quesnel is about 6 hours north west of us. We have had our property there for 25 years, and spent many summers clearing land, planting grapes and fruit trees, and then a garden, but this will be such a fun year to be there till the fall and doing it together.
Our kiddos are now independent and holding down the city house for us, I'm a homemaker so I'm thinking there is no such thing as retirement for me but my husband is going to LOVE being a farm guy finally!

Keep hoping, planning and dreaming... your Montana life will be wonderful, I'm sure!
