Let's get those UFOs off our sewing tables, sofas, kitchen tables and out of the closets.

Let's get a fresh start on 2018 and get some more UFO's finished.
The first step towards fixing a problem is admitting you have one. So here I go: I have containers full of started, partly finished, almost finished and planned projects. Many of them are in a storage locker that costs $65 per month. I know I am not the only one!

So here we go. In 2018, I AM for sure this time going to get a handle on my UFO's by acknowledging their existence, organizing them, finishing some of them and hopefully won't add to the list of UFO's. I wish us all luck. I know I will need the help and support of all you fine ladies in this daunting project.

So who is with me!

What a beautiful blouse! The sleeves looks great. I'm sure your MIL appreciates what you have done for her! :)

Happy Memorial Day y'all! I finished remodeling this blouse for my mother-in-law. It had puffy sleeves, but she has thin skin that bruises easily, so I offered to make longer sleeves. I didn't realize how hard it would be to find the right shade of white cotton!
At last it is finished.

Jill, looking back I'm surprised too lol! Most of them were completed before Everleigh was born. So I think my "nesting" was in high gear for my projects. Plus at that point in time my boys took a nap at the same time. Now at least one of my kids is always awake. So this may be a bit of a challenge for awhile.

Krista, you did accomplish quite a lot this year, so I'm not surprised your list is smaller. I'm amazed how much you manage to get done with three little ones. I never seemed to manage that much when I was at that stage.

Marie, thanks so much for doing this. I love having somewhere to check off accomplishments.

Foe ages I've been saying that I am going to join this group so I can actually empty my boxes of UFOs. Didn't realize how many I had until I moved last year. Maybe this will be the year!

Linda, surprisingly my list is smaller than last years! lol I had to double check it a couple of times because that just doesn't seem right!

I still have so many UFOs to finish - so many that I don't even list them anymore. My list was over 125 last time I made it, which was several years ago.

Hay there.

I am ready to make my new list of UFOs.....which is actually my old list, just rewritten....hahahaha. This year I will add about 5 new items that I picked up thru the year in 2018. I actually refrained from purchasing a LOT more that I brought home. I want to get them done. But I will be finishing a Quilt of Valor, a tiny memory quilt, a duck hunters motif throw, several embroidery items.....I will stop right there with this online list.....but it goes on and on and on.

This year I have dedicated myself to go to my Tuesday Sew-diers group and will take various items each trip...something different that is already in the making....not a new project. Wish me luck. I need to stay focused because at the end of the year it will be a HOMEMADE Christmas.

Hugs,
Daizy

I'm ready! I was actually just started my mental list this morning of the things I didn't complete last year, as well as the new ones I added last year. I am setting myself a goal to stay motivated this year. My mom and I made plans to get together once a week to help each other complete our UFOs. I hope it sticks. We got this ladies! 2019 will be the year.

Good job Jill. I'll get this all caught up. I've been so busy and have been depressed for the past 2 months. So much is difficult yet I continue to persevere.

Finished painting my kitchen. I've had the paint for a year and finally got to it. My husband helped get the hard to reach places. It was all the taping off required to paint that was holding me back and it did take longer to tape and cover everything with plastic than to paint. But it looks nice and bright for Christmas. I'm really happy with the result. Have a great Christmas everyone!
