Does anyone have any good crockpot steak recipes? Or any steak recipes that don't involve a grill? I am not a huge fan of steaks and we have quite a few left from our cow that needs to be eaten before then end of the year. So I am looking for new and yummy ways to eat them. I found a crockpot peppered steak recipe that I am trying tonight, but would love some others.

Good thinking Jamie. Thank you!

Julie, I have a couple of cube steaks so I will try the steak fajitas with that. Broccoli is not a favorite to any of the boys in my house so I think I'll pass on the beef and broccoli.

Thank you for the recipe Nicole. It's different than the one I tried last week. I think it was the steak we used because I wasn't a big fan of it.

The current steaks I have are Sirloin, t-bone, rib eye, and rib steak.

Slow Cooked Pepper steak

Cut 2 pounds of beef round steak into strips
Brown in 2 Tbsp oil

Add to crock pot with: 1/4 cup reduced sodium soy sauce, 1 chopped onion, 1 garlic clove, 1 tsp. Sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp ginger, 1 can tomatoes with juice, 2 large sweet peppers cut into strips, 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Cook in crock pot on low 5 -6 hours and serve over noodles or hot rice

I don’t remember where that recipe came from originally, but I have made it over 20 years now!

Beef-broccoli stir fry is another one of our favorites. Again I use sirloin or flank steak.

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.

I like a sirloin or flank steak for fajitas, but I have used cube steak as well.

Might also be good to google making steaks in the oven - where you sear them on stove and then finish in the oven. A lot of restaurants cook them that way :)

Thank you Nicole!

Thanks Julie. That sounds really good. We are big chicken fajita fans, but I haven't tried steak yet. Which kind of steak do you use?

You can also marinade them in a good soy sauce-ginger marinade, slice thin, cook until desired doneness and serve on a bed of salad greens for a delicious steak salad.

I do my steak fajitas in the crock pot. Brown the steaks, slice into thin strips, throw them into the crockpot with sliced peppers, sliced onions, 1 tbsp. Cornstarch, 2 tsp. Chili powder, 1 tsp. Salt, 1 tsp. Paprika, 1 tsp. Sugar, 1/2 tsp. Onion powder, 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder, 1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp. Ground cumin and 1/4 cup water. Cook on low about 4 hours until steak is tender and veggies are done. These are so yummy.

Hi Krista,

I have a good one for the crockpot. I will look it up and post it here in a bit.
