On Friday, we're trading in our Winnebago motorhome for a new Forest River Salem travel trailer. We started our journey as RVers a year ago and discovered that we love camping. We live for getting out there. In May, we joined a private campground in Mason County, Washington and now we have a permanent spot out in the Pacific Northwest wilderness. We go out there frequently, but our motorhome is just too small for us plus our huge dog. So we're trading her in and I CANNOT WAIT!

We'll have about 200 sq. ft. of living space and we're going to use this as an experiment in tiny living. We're thinking about downsizing and living full time in a travel trailer or tiny home so this will be a part-time experiment to see if we can do it. (We both work from home and go out to our camp at least two nights a week).

Here is a picture of the rear kitchen. I specifically wanted a travel trailer with a rear kitchen as I love that they are out of the way from everything else happening in the space at that time.

And this is our campsite, taken from the back of the camping area. It slopes down so there's a lot of space behind me, too, but it's not usable space and is mainly greenbelt. (And that tiny person is my husband).

Hi, Grace! We don't really hit the trails because our trailer stays parked at a private campground on the Olympic Peninsula. But we go there often and have had dozens of campouts since then!!!

Thanks, everyone! We got the trailer yesterday and as soon as we finish breakfast and pack up the car, we're heading out for the weekend to "move in." We have a lot to unpack from the Winnebago and several new things. I just can't wait to spend the rest of the weekend in the wilderness!
