I have some peaches and would like to make freezer jam so I can taste fresh peaches in January. It is possible to use Chillover to make freezer jam?

Unfortunately the chilliover peach freezer jam was less than successful. It just doesn't keep well after defrosting; you have to eat it within a couple of days. No worries -- next time I'll just do it the surejell way.

They both sound good Judith! I haven't gotten my peach jam done yet. I did blueberry and froze my peaches. Need to do it before they are finished here for the season.

Thank you -- peach freezer jam will happen. Right after the peach cobbler.

I have not tried the chillOver Powder yet but I think I'm going to give it a try. Sounds like there is a lot one can do with it.

Hi Judith, you can absolutely use ChillOver Powder to make freezer jam! The general rule is 2 packets (equal to 2 teaspoons) of ChillOver for every 4 cups crushed fruit. The recipe booklet included with every purchase of ChillOver Powder has this and several other recipes.

I thought it was like a jello? You can freeze but it might be a bit thin when melted. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will respond soon! I love peaches too! Good luck and be sure to freezer some up no matter what!
