I was on the uTube site looking at a particular sewing machine when I spotted this simple sewing/craft idea.

sew needless to say,, I had to make a mini one..
mine is 2"x2"... and my finger fussy skills need some work... on the uTube the guy made his about 4" sqd, and it came out much neater.
It is called a Cathedral or stain glass ornament.

I think I will make a few of these for Autumn and Christmas deco for our motorhome, and hang them like a Garland.

Has anyone else made these?

Grace, that's really pretty looking. I think a garland is a cute way to display some. I can picture some really pretty snowflake fabric for some Christmas ones. And a snowflake button in the middle!

Super simple..

1. cut 2 matching 8" circles
2. sew RST leave opening for turning.
3 turn rt side out and stitch closed
4. fold in half (like a taco) mark at fold on each corner.
5. now open and fold opposite ends and mark edge.
6. pinch the 2 ends and stitch a couple of stitches to secure.
7. now bring up the other two edges and tack stitch..
8. flatten and with your finger flip the corners over and fussy finger press..
9. sew a button or ribbon at top to cover the tack stitches..

Like I aid, easy...
I will send you the utube site...

That is similar to what I have seen. Can you email me the link or instructions? Is it relatively simple?
