There has bee a lot of interest in doing a Doll Pass Along again like the Old Traveling Mascot Doll that has since been retired to the Farm.

I would be happy to host such a Pass Along and keep tabs on where the Doll is. Either I can make a doll or we can take Volunteers to make her.

Here are the rules so far, please feel free to suggest more if you think of any:

  • Sign up here and send Alee your name and complete address and phone number via email

  • When you recieve the doll take pictures of her and either write up a little journal entry or create a digital scrap book page to email to Alee. I will then collect them and organize them into an E-Book for all participants

  • When you send the doll onwards you will need to pay for tracking. Then please email Alee the tracking number.

  • Only keep the dolls for a maximum of a week.

  • Feel free to make accessories for the doll, but if her suitcase starts getting full she might have to make a stop at home to drop off some clothes.

Awe, this sounds like a lot of fun! I would be very interested in doing this too, any chance of it getting started?

Hey Alee I would love to start one of these. I have a little bear that a dear friend made for my son and my son has sort of outgrown it. Not really he just has more interest in knights, kings, and other boy stuff right now. Anyway I was thinking of washing it and retiring it to his keepsakes. Then I thought would it be wonderful if the little bear could travel around before being retired. Do I have to get permission to start one of these?

Where is this doll now and can I get on the list to have her visit me? I'd love to take her to the beach this winter. I LOVE her tatoo! She is very cute. Joey

Hi ladies!

Sara has had a good week here and I am sending her off today or tomorrow. Nora really enjoyed her and even my husband was impressed! She has one host mom left on the list so I have a question for you- after this do you want to see sara again? Especially you ladies that were at the top of the list?

Sara arrived safe and sound. I am going to get some more photos and get her on her way again to the next host mom. Nora is having a slumber party with her tonight and Doug thinks her box is pretty neat! :)

Well Sara has had a nice time in NY, but it is getting too hot for her and she is getting travel fever. She will be moving on soon,

Well, Sarah has had a blast in Binghamton, NY. She met with the Bing-hen-ton City Chicks last Saturday, where we had a plant exchange, knitting and a lunch that included a masala challenge.

Sara was looking so tired we treated her to a day at the spa. She got her hair done and had a spa facial. See how pretty she looks.

She also got very adventurous and got a pretty farm girl tatoo.

We'll see what this Memorial Day weekend holds in store for her. Hope it's a good weekend for all of you.
