We moved into the new place and it needs some serious TLC in the decorating department. I covered up the nasty dark red in my kitchen with a pretty bright light green and made up rose and blue striped curtains. Now, my questions is, if I want to make the whole kitchen the beautiful shabby chic theme, what sewing projects could you suggest to help this along? Does everything *have* to match? What do you think of when you think shabby chic?
Thanks and Hugs

When I think of Shabby Chic, I think not so much as everything matching ... more like it being tied together with say color. Like white chippy chairs and table. Older chippy cupboards.
casual, not so fussy,florals,slipcovers ...
