I have a Selmer Bundy flute and beginning flute book for sale. I bought the flute and beginning book hoping one of my grandsons would be interested in learning and I struck out there.

The flute is a used Selmer Bundy flute and is in good condition; it is in a hard-sided Artley case and includes the metal cleaning rod.

The book is brand new and never has been used. It is called Standard of Excellence: Enhanced Comprehensive Band Method Book 1 Flute by Bruce Pearson and also includes 2 CDs. The CDs contain recordings of all of the lessons in the book.

I am asking $25 for the flute and $10 for the book - $35 total plus shipping.

Ok, I played Clarinet, Alto, and I wasn't all that great...
In Jr High, we were able to rent out instraments.. Then by 9th grade my folks bought me my clarinet.. and go figure I stopped playing in 10th grade....
Always had to keep a cloth on my lap to catch the 'drool'..lol!
Aww, memories...

Linda, what are the odds of that. Did you ever learn how to play the flute later on?

In college I was a music majoar, and I had to take most of the instruments. However, the one class I didn't have was Flute and Sax, and wouldn't you know ... the first class I had to teach as a substitute was - Ta Daaaaaaaaa! FLUTE! It was a beginning class, and I only had them for 1 day, but I did know enough about the flute that most all the students were getting their first sounds out of it when I left.

Linda, I use to play the flute in school and I still have mine. It's been years since I have played it. Now I want to dig it out and try playing again. That's the same book I have too! Thanks for bringing back some memories for me!
