Prayer does wonders...in fact I am just going over to the area where I can ask for prayers for my children....it has been very very hard this summer....I thank everyone for bartering with me---I've really really enjoyed having fun making nice barters. And I so look forward to volunteering at Scholastic Books...its fun and then I get to shop for your children.FUN.
I will check with the P.O. I think book post is cheaper then flat rate....I think???

It would be wonderful to see pictures of your home in India. Would love to visit some day.
So sorry to hear about the difficulties your children are having in finding work. It is difficult times we are in. So much uncertainty. I do believe we need to return to our roots more. We have become too wasteful and a bit greedy as a country, in general.

Just to let everyone know----tomorrow whoever I owe any swaps with from the states----meaning NOT material from India....I will be mailing the packages all out tomorrow.
Next week I will be visiting Maryland to say good bye to my parents...then as far as I know I will be coming back and packing up for India.
Please though, e-mail me when you get your packages, thanks. Everything is packed I just have to get to the post office early..

I can't wait to see India in person and to see you, your family and your beautiful house. Someday!! 
Let me know if you need anything "jam-wise" or otherwise... for the upcoming Holiday season. I will gladly ship! Just knowing that something I have packed and sent would be arriving in India tickles me to no end.

Two weeks from now I am off to India. I am excited. However I came home on a mission to help my kids.....that mission really went nowhere......patterns in life are so hard to break....to change. I feel bad about not being able to help---and sometimes the best thing to do is step aside....no more lectures. I will just pray and trust in God that He will help my grown kids.......keep them in your prayers, gal friends......and thank you for your frienships.

Well I am pretty much all packed....I am just waiting for the calling cards Dutchy was kind enough to make for me....I leave in 5 days and yes I am excited. Dreading the heat though.
I will do my best to keep you all.....those that are interested in what I am doing over there....if you don't hear from me in awhile you know that I am having computer problems.....but all will be well the end of October.
To the gal friends expecting care packages from me---I will follow through with my end and mail you some great material or whatever we were bartering. wheather you hear from me or not.. And I know you all will do the same for me.....last year every gal I bartered with came through.....and with great goodie boxes....which were very much appreciated by my son.

Thanks Dutchy----won't have it til after I leave.....oh well maybe my husband can bring it over if it gets here in time.
