Beverly, Have a safe trip home. How wonderful that you can travel around the world. Such an exciting life you live. Enjoy all of the days the good Lord has given you. Who knows someday I may take you up on your offer and go to New Delhi for a visit. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

Dianne, the door is wide open----you and yours are welcome to a totally different experience in life. Most people I have met love India but a few do not....but at least they have experienced it. And I can understand their point of view also.
Anyway, I'll be writing you farm gals very soon......here's hoping the monsoon downpour which is late this year will ease up so I don't have to build an ark.

 very hot in New Delhi---more so then usual----hope you are all well. Sent care packages out---but will send SArah another of brocade---as I didn't care for the quality itself even though it was beautiful.

It's not hot here, it's about 62. My DH and I are putting away our summer toys and bringing out the snow shovels. I love watching the snow fall and the beauty it creates on the tree's I hate to shovel it and drive in it and the cold of it.

getting a little more cooler---probably only in the 90's---a lot different then 100. Doing very well going swimming every day in a cold water pool. My husband will be joining me in 2 weeks. I have 2 great servants who cook and dust and whatever else I can think of---I am so blessed....as they are very sweet---unders tand me and I pretty much catch their drift.I have waited many many yearsfor this type of atmosphere---I can actually entertain...its been very very nice. I am very happy. I don't want to keep saying it...I know times are rough ...but anytime I am here you can come on over and visit me.
My first guest is from Eureka, California...Susan. She is having a great time deswpite the heat....is leaving on Wednesday to travel around India.

Sounds like you ARE very blessed Beverly! But that heat would do me in for sure..haha. It gets hot here in summer..but not for long at a time usually. This was a cooler than usual summer and we only had maybe a week or so over `100. It is way cool now...60 during the day and in the 20's at night..my favorite weather for sure. But the heat helps the garden grow so I love it all in it's season. A cold water pool sounds nice!!! (not HERE today..but in July..haha)

well it was bound to happen ---I got the Delhi sore throat and cough--nothing major and I usually don't get it...my husband does.
Today I went to a fair put out by the Swiss embassy---I was hoping to get some cute children's clothes...baby clothes. It was geared for the very high fashion gals.....I was very impressed with the fashion. ...wishing Laura Marie was with me. Had a good time----but I miss my husband so much---nothing makes too much sense without him....and I swear I will never leave him again just to get things done....whatever it is isn't more important then his company.
I bought 4 rose bushes here for about $4 each------wish me luck...they are nothing like in the states.
Keep me in your thoughts---I'm just a lonely girl---so lonely and blue........its not a good feeling.....but I will stay busy.
