Mmmm! Fun site!

I like your verse too!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Thanks! I also like - although it isn't a verse - "God does not comfort us to make us comfortable. God comforts us to make us comforters."

Hi! Mary Beth ~
Welcome to MaryJane's Farm!!
I saw your demo of the Oklahoma Pastry Cloth at Country Cottage Lavender Farm (http://www.countrycottagelavender.com/) last year. It's very nice - I was really impressed with how well it works! Thanks for the reminder, I've bookmarked your web page.

Thanks. They DO have yummy stuff and have been serving it all day. I would say that they have at least 20 different samples of soups, dips, desserts, sauces, etc. that you can just go through and make a full buffet of it! I didn't eat lunch because I kept snacking. I am serving blueberry muffins, myself. It is really a wonderful store.

I have an Oklahoma Pastry Cloth and am happy for this chance to tell you and everyone else that it works perfectly. My young granddaughters and I made cookies last week and we had no problem rolling out the dough. What a relief! I also have quit buying ready made pie crusts, which I had been doing because rolling out the dough was such a pain. I hope you had a great week-end at Kaye's Gifts.

Thank you, Beth! I am so glad that my pastry cloth has made cookies easier! And it is so wonderful that you are sharing your baking time with your granddaughters. To me, those who bake together, stay together!!

The show was wonderful and I met so many nice people with so many great ideas. Thanks again.

Just thought that I'd let everybody know that the cookbooks are in! They are titled Family Recipes Then and Now. The first part of the book is dedicated to the story of my great grandparents and what life was like for them in the early to mid 1900's. Stories and memories are offered by the generations following. The first section of recipes includes the traditional ones that have been handed down in my family and then each section after that are recipes submitted by members of every following generation to the great-great generation. We are now starting into the great-great-great generation! The website at http://www.oklahomapastrycloth.com/shop/ still shows that the books are on their way, but they are here and I am waiting for my web designer to take that off! You can still order. Just thought I'd let everybody know!

There is a new post at the Oklahoma Pastry Cloth blog at http://www.oklahomapastrycloth.com/blog/?p=133 entitled "Life Can Be A Jar Of Pickled Peppers." I have a feeling that you will identify with it! New products are coming soon as well, including the Wedding Basket, jams and spices. I'll alert you when they get put up on the website.
