I am starting the football placement pattern I found (already found a printed mistake in the pattern and started over). I am going to see if I can make hubby a pillow out of two of these, for Christmas.

I only have a short bit of time to work on this today. I'm heading to the dentist with my youngest.

Wow! Just found this group topic! Wonderful to check out what everyone is working on! Lots of cute projects! Myself, I always seem to keep my hand busy with some form of hand work. I have found another addiction! Working with wool! Made this cute penny rug with scrap wool!

Keep well Everyone!

Very nice penny rug! I don't have any wool here, but maybe I could do the same with felt?

I finished the football mat. I just have to weave in the ends.

I have to take one dog to the vet today, and figure out dinner. I hope to have time to knit and work on ornaments today.

Thanks Kristina! Cute football! Although not sure cute should be used with football! lol Felt would work also! I have never worked with felt. One of my customer's mentioned having to wash it to get the "shrink" look to it. May want to test it first. I do know that felt and felted wool (which is what I am using) are interchangeable. Cheers!

well we can certainly tell it's that time of year,,,, when we seem (at least I am) more focused on our handcragting... lol!

Kris, I wish I could knit... I know my hubby would luv a knitted football mat for his 2 fav teams, L.A. Rams & Dallas Cowboys.... shoot, I don't even know what colors the teams sport.... when hubby watches the games on TV... I go Thrifting! lol!

Carole,,,, LuV iT ! aren't penny rugs relaxing to make? I have posted a few pics on my katmom blog of some that i did.

Sherone...how cute,, an apron to cutesiefy the dish soap bottle..
I found a crocheted one that I put on an empty dish soap container,, and display it just for giggles.

Happy Nov. 1st & Happy crafting...

I'm working on an ornament that will be on my S.C.R.A.P. blog later today (I hope), knitting again, and writing. Oh, I love to ignore the housework and write. This is the one month I allow myself to spend "30 days and nights of literary abandon."

I guess I like the first letter of the alphabet "A" . . . I continue to work on APRONS and ATCs.

Just finished some "Sew Creative" ATCs, one for a one-for-one swap with "bobbinrobin" here in Farmgirl and 3 for a Yahoo group swap.
This one is the one I sent to Sharon. It is a bi-fold ATC, meaning it is 5x3.5 inches and folds in half to the typical ATC dimensions.

This pic is of the front, the yellow ribbon goes all the way round and to close the bi-fold winds around the big button.

This is the inside, opened up to show a cute little red antique sewing machine.

These were total FUN to make! Thanks for letting me share!

And loved, adored and appreciated by me is this one that Sharon made for me in our swap! She even made a cute little envelope for the ATC out of the brown checked paper!

Sharon's work is AWESOME! I LOVE IT!!! It's displayed on a cute little antique Coronado sewing machine I have in my house.
THANKS SHARON!

too cool i would have to hide the milk rings from the cat and she would most likely not want to share.

Thanks. We are working on making more with the clothespins.

Today I must write, then run a kiddo to the dentist, then knit and then...and then....

Maybe I need to sit and read books for a change. And slow day for a day.

I am really getting into the holiday season.

I would if I had a fireplace, Charlotte! It would be really nice here at work because they won't turn on the heat--and it snowed today.
