Dena, don't get discouraged. I bet you can figure it out! Can she help you out even if she doesn't donate 2 hours?

These are the slippers I am working on now. I really like the colors my aunt choose. They look great together.

Very pretty colors! I'm itching to get back on the wagon with crochet or knitting - will happen soon!

I've been working on cutting out felt circles for a wreath I am making as a gift. I've also been working on a felt ornament that will be a gift this Christmas as well. I finished 4 potholders recently too, I'll be giving 2 each to different people this Christmas and will probably end up knitting some dishcloths to go with and maybe purchasing some kitchen towels in coordinating colors and then adding some embroidery to the corner of each...

Christine, that's funny! Your school made a good choice in colors!

Jamie, that is wonderful that you have already started working on Christmas gifts. I would love to start early as well but I need to finish my current projects first before I even think about it! Can't wait to have you back on the crochet and knitting wagon!

Normally I do not get started with crafting Christmas gifts until later in the year, but for some reason this year I have been doing really good!

At some point I'll divert some activity to making some decorative items that I want for ME - mostly fall stuff. My goal is to have bulk of all gifts crafted by end of August since that is when I'll start my whole house cleaning plan and a big push of freezer cooking!

Thought I'd share a pic of the potholders I mentioned:

I also finished up a felt ornament yesterday as well:

Pinned all the circles I cut onto wreath form but ran out so working on cutting more!

Krista, love the slippers.
Jaime, Would love to see the felt wreath, sounds interesting. I may do some cross stitch ornaments for Christmas presents. I am picky about who gets handmade gifts, as some do not appreciate them.
I just love that little felt car, it is adorable!
Lenora, what color is your apron.

I started a new cross stitch project, last night. I had a heck of a time. I miscut the fabric, I calculated wrong. Luckily I thought it looked small and rechecked it. I also was a little unsure as the pattern was off of pinterest. However after getting some stitches in I think it will turn out fine.
I also tried stitching over 1 on 28ct linen. I am not sure how others do it. My stitches seemed to slip and it just didn't look good. I may try again after researching it a bit.

I'm having crafting troubles of my own on the felt wreath! Realized I pinned them all wrong so out they will come and I'll start over! It is nice that the circles of felt are just folded and pinned - no glue - so I can fix them! I will be sure to post a pic of this one when I am finished - but here is a photo of the last one I made that hangs in our bedroom.

I do love that pinecone fabric I used for potholders too! You can't see it in the photo but the print is accented with silvery glitter - it is really pretty!

Jamie, I still love that wreath! Can't wait to see what the next one looks like!

Bridge, looks great!

This weekend I finished up 2 pairs of slippers and made something special for my swap partner. I don't want to share since I want her to still be surprised. I will share my special project once she gets my package.

Jaime, I love that wreath!!! Ideas are just bouncing in my head. Is it on a foam wreath form?
Krista, those slippers are adorable!! The purple are my fave (of course, I like purple)

After dinner I hope to stitch the evening away. I have tomorrow off work. I want to stitch, but I have some swaps to finish so I will be making ATC and cards. Hopefully I can get those done and then stitch my day away!!

Krista - Love the slippers!!!

Bridge - Yes, the wreath is made using a foam wreath form and pins. You just fold 3 inch circles of felt in half and then in half again and pin to the form. Then you make a handful of felt flowers using design of choice - I just look on Pinterest - and hot glue them onto the wreath for an accent.

I got the wreath in progress all taken apart yesterday and I'm almost completely done pinning the "ruffles" back on. Just need to finish around the outside edge which won't take long!

I'm getting my oil changed this afternoon so I've brought along a workbag with kits for a few different felt ornaments. I'll use the time while waiting on my car to work on one of those!

Have my first potholder knitted about 3/4 of the way - I've been using YouTube videos to help me remember how to do it! lol

Worked on cutting out felt pieces for another ornament kit! And I got two kits put together for making felt sachets - will fill them with Epsom salts mixed with a few drops of essential oils. They will make nice gifts for putting in drawers to make clothes/linens smell nice.

Krista,
The potholder is really beautiful. Do you have a pattern that I can have. I would like to make some of these.
