Grace, when I taught preschool, we would use toilet paper rolls and turn them into fireworks in July and also cut them down the sides a couple times and bend the edges, dip them in paint and stamp them on a paper. It made a firework design. I loved using toilet paper rolls for crafts.
I have a pillow like that. It’s so wonderful to use after a long day. Enjoy some relaxation.

What I've been doing is finally working in my sewing rooms - first getting it fairly organized, and now actually sewing for a change. Yee haw!
Here are pictures of my newly painted and organized sewing rooms in our new-to-us house:
1 - View from door showing (L to R) cutting table, fabric/book cubes, more fabric cubes, sewing area.
2 - View from window to sewing area, unfinished quilt hanger, and area where ironing board will be.
3 - one side of quilting/crafting storage room.
4 - Other side of quilting crafting room.
If it doesn't show, in both rooms the color is a light blue (teal?) called Swimming from Sherwin Williams. In the quilting room there was a lower textured area which we painted white. The wood wall was left from the original area.
 
 
I think I will enjoy working in this area. What do you think?

Heather, your Easter aprons ar adorable! Definitely looks like spring to me!
Linda, I love that color paint! Many years ago we painted our old kitchen that color and I loved it. It was my favorite room and I couldn’t help but feel happy in there. There is something magical about that color! You are going to love it.
Everyone’s beautiful work has me feeling a tad bit jealous. Lately it’s been taking me forever to complete any project. I’m hoping this funk passes soon and I can get my faster groove back.

face mask
I snuck the white throw away mask out of my DH's wood working tool box to look at as an idea for my face masks.. I wasn't crazy with the ones I had been making.
On the inside of mine I hand tacked on 'pelon' interfacing, as a barrier..
But when I made my DH his mask, I used a double layer of tight woven flannel fabric..
I have COPD, I never smoked,, but my dad was a very heavy smoker and I had Whooping Cough as an infant... so I am the not so lucky one in the family,, and have crappy lungs.. and for that reason I have decided to wear a mask anytime I am out in public...
Both my daughter and 1 granddaughter have Asthma and are on medication and Nebulizers,, so I will be making masks for them as well.
So,, maybe I need to 'Bling' up our masks with rhinestones and yoyos... what do you think???

Linda, my BFF, Irmgard (in Germany) made both the fitted and fan folded.. I like that the fan folder covers more of my face but when I am looking downward, my mask sort of gets forced up.... maybe I need to quit looking downward! lol!
Maybe I will try sewing a/the (cone)fitted mask tomorrow.

Grace, rhinestones would be so cool! It would make you look very fancy!
I took a break from crochet yesterday and started working on a UFO tie blanket that has been in my craft stuff for almost 2 years. I got all sides pinned and 2 sides cut before my kids woke from nap. I'm going to finish cutting today during nap time. Maylee apparently thinks it's for her, but I'll be happy to share with her!
