Dianne,

It will say Harbor Lights and show four different lighthouses with waves (including three charms). It will be a nice cross stitch wall-hanging for my husband.

Finishing a quilt top I found years ago at a yard/estate sale. Its from the 20s or 30s in perfect Dresden plate condition. It deserved to be hand quilted, but my fingers don't work that way anymore so I had it machine quilted. Now I'm finishing the edging and will add some yo~yos to the top to give it my own twist. Will post when its finished.

WOW! Everyone is making such cute items! Having 1 full-time job and 2 part-time jobs, I have just been extremely tired when I get home. I have made ...a pair of pink pillowcases. I am still trying to figure out how to post a picture....ugh!

Finally, a pic of the black walnut ink sample on bookmarks, and a little heart yo-yo Christmas pin I put together last night.

I love the little hats and the children are adorable!!! They look so happy to be wearing their darling hats. I'll bet they are warm too.

Sharon, can you post a photo of your new/vintage quilt? I would love to see it.

Judith, the black walnut ink is so cool!! I love the earthiness of it. I honestly have not seen a heart-shaped yo-yo yet. Now I know what everyone is talking about on the swaps!!

Sharon . . your quilt is absolutely gorgeous!!! What a work of art!!!

Dianne . . well, I don't know how to knit, crochet, spin or weave. I've never been bowling (I know, hard to believe) and I'm a very, very poor swimmer. There are probably other things . . .
Thanks for the compliments!

I am working on unpacking all my arts and crafts supplies! I'm so excited to see all my "play things" I haven't seen in months! I'll be even more excited when I can get them all organized and ready for action! (sigh) One step at a time! :)

That is a lovely quilt Sharon! My sister had one like that when we were growing up. I don't remember what was on my bed lol. Maybe I didn't have one?

I'm finally getting to do actual "work" on my niece's quilt! I've finished the cutting, today I did the folding & pinning & now (at almost 4 pm) I'm starting the sewing! Hopefully this part doesn't take me too long!

Merry!! Ho!! Ho!!
I made this one for ME!!! Found the fabric in Phoenix while shopping with my daughter and decided to make a Christmas apron for me and, yes that is red pom-pom trim on the pockets. I call this my "retro" style and is one style that I make to sell (finishing up one today for a customer). I wore this to the Christmas Bazaar a week ago yesterday where I was selling my aprons (GREAT sales that day!!) and, I could have sold several of these . . the lady in charge of the bazaar kept trying to steal it from me.

Yesterday I wore it to go shopping in town . . and while at Walmart a man in sporting goods asked me where "we kept the big batteries". I had to tell him I didn't work there. He smiled and said "Okay, I like the apron". Then a gal in fabrics, who knows me and has cut miles and miles of fabric for me, asked me if I made it. After I told her I did, she said "that is adorable!". Then there was a lady in mens clothing who asked me where "we had hats and gloves". I had to tell her that I didn't work there. She apologized and said she saw the apron . . . got lots of compliments and had a ton of fun! The "greeter" lady on duty a lot when I go in also knows me and we always chat and she admired it. I'll be wearing it again to town . . . why not?!?!
CJ

P.S. The wreath has my Christmas Apron ATCs attached to it with tiny clothespins. They are from a Farmgirl Swap.

Sharon lovely quilt.
CeeJay, that's a good one and the apron is great.
I ordered some crochet books from Dover press and was amazed at how quickly they got them to me here in Alaska and at Christmas time to boot.
I am working on some crochet stuff. Lots of doing and lots of ripping out and redoing.
