Thank you Rae. I do appreciate prayer as I now go through his things and figure our what to do with them. A lot has already been donated to different places he cared about. Veterans and such. But it is such a process. I will accept any and all prayers to get through it all.
Will snail mail you as soon as life gets back to normal, hopefully shortly.

Things are progressing here. Getting the house back to rights after doing some small renovations.

Small renovations always seem to turn into larger projects don't they?

I keep taking things out of here Darlene. Trying to keep some semblance of organization while they work on the front rooms.

The weather has taken a turn for the better today, nice cool breeze.

How are you all doing? Prayers for all of you today!

I can't seem to pull myself out of this funk.

I've got 4 kids, well 5 including the husband, work a job I have to force myself to like, and this time of year is my favorite but it also reminds me how few friends I have anymore. I can name off countless blessings in my life, and things I am thankful for.

But it's still so stinkin hard to pull myself outta this. I know it's a phase that'll pass. But good grief it's annoying!! lol!

Hi Nicki, I feel for you and I understand. I've been there and fight to hold on to my peace. Through the years I have learned I can't pull myself out of a black mood that has a hold on me. Only the Lord can do that for me. Only by prayer and getting into his word am I able to see the light at the end of the dark tunnel.

May the Lord bless and keep you. May you find peace in him. May your days be filled with contentment and joy; may your nights be filled with sweet dreams.

Hi Sister Nikki,
I know our Lord will help us through all things but I have to ask. Are you taking care of your temple. You obviously have a full plate with "5" kids. I only have the one I married. But are you getting enough sleep, eating enough veggies, giving yourself some special time for yourself?

When I get runned down and feel nothing is going right I try to think have I been taking my B's and iron? It is just a thought.

I do know what it is like to not like a job you have to go to. I had awful coworkers that tried to get others to gang up on me. Even went to the supervisor but it didn't help. Suffered 7 years. BUT.... the haters are gone, retired or transferred or whatever and I love my team mates now. I chose to not be a hater and not talk bad about the haters to other coworkers.

Sorry to carry on but I will keep you in prayer.

I noticed you live in Carthage. Been there many times when I was a youngin. Auntie Mildred my mom's sister lived there. Do you all still have lightening bugs in the evening?

Hello everyone! Wow I have typed a paragraph 3 different times here and had to erase, sound so negative and don't mean for that to be the case. Just reflecting on how materialized Christmas has become and how much people are trying to kill it, pushing it out of everything. I mean really... ok most get the day off and often paid and have no problem with that. It is because it is Christmas, a holiday and Christmas is the birth our our Lord and Savior!! If you don't want any part of the faith then don't you think they should give up the extra pay, gifts, bonus, dinners, etc... Ok sorry ladies but just had to get that out.

Unfortunately Rae many have followed along with the things that celebrate not the birth of Christ but the traditions of men. Those things are put first and our society has been immersed in it for a very, very, very long time. Now don't get me wrong I am not judging. We as a family celebrate with a Christmas tree and gifts to one another but it is all about the focus. Just saying I understand the frustrations, but we can only make choices of where we will direct our thoughts and focus not that of others.

Hey Ladies!!! Seems as if no one has posted on here since early March 2018. Let's try to get this thread started again. I think it might be beneficial and uplifting to be able to talk to each other on here sometimes...There is no greater comfort than having a Christian friend to talk to and share prayers...thoughts and dreams with!!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!!

Hugs!

Sara always so nice to read your posts and we definitely need peace in our country as around the world.

Rae so nice to hear from you and it is always nice to connect with those who have the same belief in the Lord. I hope this thread can be a place of peace and comfort to those who need it. I was just reading it earlier and thought how sad that no one is ever on here anymore. The prayer forum isn't used much either. If there was ever a time that we need prayer and each other it is the day and time we live in.

Hugs!

Ok trying to bump this up and keep it active, although I am first to admit not the best at getting on here like I used to. Guess it is time for me to change that bad habit. I really miss the conversations I used to have on daily basis with so many of you.

Here in MN it is rather chilly, 10 this morning but at least the sun is out for a little while, haven't seen much of that lately. Not quite ready for this cold. Deer hunting season here.

Blessing to each and everyone of you and hope to keep up the conversation. As I said quite a while ago our country needs major prayer warriors so I challenge you all to pray for her daily!!

Good morning Rae and all my FarmGirl sisters in the Lord. My prayer for all of us today is that we walk in the peace of our Lord and strive to be a blessing to someone.

I was blessed this week by a surprise gift from a FarmGirl. It came at just the right time because I am dreading the coming holidays because they are hard for me since I lost my son last year. When it is put on our hearts to touch someone it is probably because they need to be comforted or lifted up by our words or gifts.

So good to see this thread active again.
Sara, I did not realize the loss of your son was so recent. So very sorry. Not that losing a child at anytime gets easier. Praying for all of you.

Rae, I just sent you snail mail. Trying to get back into the groove of things again.

Good morning,it’s good to see you all on here, prayers are what are needed right now for our Country and for all things going on right now, with the violence and shootings and all who have lost homes in the fires last summer and with the new ones burning right now!
It is so good to have like minded Prayer Warriors, thank you again

Blessings and hugs
