Paris is in the winter mix coming to Texas this afternoon. Forecast a little snow, mostly icy rain. Roads will be hazardous and nightly temps in the 20s with days in the 30s. May last till Thursday.

Severe weather later today and until early tomorrow morning. City of Paries called all residents to let us know the alert siren isn't working so there will be no alert if a tornado is on the ground. Hope the power stays on so I can watch Channel 12 out of Sherman. They do a great job when it comes to bad weather and we have a lot of bad weather.

We were in the low 80s again today. According to our weather reported locally, all that storm and intense weather that you are having Sara is staying just north of the Florida Georgia border. We are due to get some rain late Saturday evening but nobody knows yet if there will be severe weather. Like Texas, Florida can have some very severe weather this time of year as the warmth and cold collide. Sara, I hope all stays Ok out there and that no serious weather pays you a visit.

It was nice outside tonight here in East Texas. I sat outside and played my dulcimer for a bit. However, checked the weather report and it is going to be pretty wet and noisy until tomorrow morning.

The storm skirted Paris but we did get high winds and heavy rain. All around Paris there were small tornados touching down and a lot of hail.
Winnie your area of Florida and north central Texas are so alike when it comes to weather and hot, humid summers.
Nancy, you're evening outside sounds so nice. Sitting outside is one of my favorite things to do.

Sara, Wow you sure have wild mix of weather where you live! With Tornadoes and snow! What a combination of different kinds of turbulence! That must be frightening at times. With icy cold from snow and then fierce winds from tornadoes how do You cope!

A tornado touched down in the Pickton Como area just 23 miles from me. Haven't heard about how much damage. After I packed up from the porch a big wind came through and almost took off my open storm door. I was trying to get my potted plants inside. Just as fast it calmed down. wow!

I guess I should not complain ... no snow today,, but.. it has been raining all day.. on the plus side,, the snow is melting...
but,, I have some major ponding out in the hay field/pasture..
Oh well,,, if the Dove and Quail can tolerate it, I guess I can..

Our weather is rain rain and more rain with a possible river flood on the way tomorrow morning. The Eel River, my friends live down by it and got all their supplies and are planning on staying down there. They have done this several times on the last 50 years, no thank you not for me.
I will watch the valley down there with all its dairies flooding. That’s a lot of water when it does!

Pouring with lots of thunder and lightning here this morning. Should end late morning. High of 99 with heat index of 107. Hottest day this year for us. All summer has been in the 70s and 80s until this week. Next week back down to those nice temps again.

It is horribly hot here in the Chicago area. They say 102 with 88% humidity. The heat index could go up to 112 this afternoon. Thankfully it shows upper 70's for the weekend. Hopefully we will get the rain they are predicting for tomorrow. We definitely need it thanks to this heatwave!

Cooler temps here in mid-Missouri. Low 80's in the day. Some people are ready for Autumn and cooler weather after the scorching weather we have had. Me, not so much. I love the heat.

In the dead of sleep, I heard a loud boom and then another and another. We were having an actual predicted thunderstorm in Wenatchee. It also rained which we can dearly use.

Our first snow fall of the season was over the weekend. Everything looked so beautiful. Sadly it has all started to melt. I'm hoping for some more snow soon.
