I stepped outside today, and if I didn't know the calendar said January 31st, I would have bet it was more like March 31st!
Soooo tempted to till the garden beds!

We are having a real winter now, started this week for real. SO cold, temps are 23 F, windchillfactor 5F BBBRRR way too cold for me, lol. Just a short while and I won't have to feel those temps anymore yippee. At brother's the temps are now... around 90 F HAHA so looking forward to that !!

It was 59 degrees here today. Unbelievable... We have had an incredibly mild winter. And yes, it makes you want to jump right into gardening!

It feels like spring here today, temps. in the high 60's. Some of the trees are starting to bud and I have jonquils starting to appear in my backyard. This weather is nuts. I sent off for seeds yesterday. I'm going to order a "bug baffler" thingy that goes over your head to keep the bugs at bay. Last year we had lots of bugs.

Yes, the weather here on Long Island is definately not normal. Not that I am complaining at all. Heck- even if the groundhog DID see his shadow- if THIS is WINTER....I can handle it!
Enjoy the weather everyone, and Marian- glad you have that nice hot weather to look forward to in the near future!!
Smiles,
