Julie...received my labels today. You did an awesome job protecting them because my mail
person shoved them in my tiny mailbox (too lazy to come up to the door) but even folded
in half...they were in great shape. I love them.

Like Tammy C. I would also like some ideas on how to use them. The Portland ones I want to
Frame. I could work some into Mail-Art but would love to know some of the things you did
with them.

Did you hear that Mt. Hood has had a bunch of micro-earhquakes the last two days? I would
hate to see the top blow off that Mt. like it
did to St. Helens. I love the beauty of Mt.Hood year round!

Will get a pkg out soon.

The swelling is starting to go down in my face and today was the first day I didn't have
to take pain meds during the day. Yahoo!

SO glad they arrived safe and sound. I worried about that. Debbie and CJ I recieved your packages yesterday, Debbie I love the fabric, CJ your apron is beautiful. As to ideas, I did scrapbook pages with some for my sisters at christmas incorporating pictures of my grandma and mom canning and butchering chickens. I have made some cards with them and now I am thinking I want to modge podge some onto recipe boxes. My daughter has a grape-wine theme in her kitchen so I am thinking of making her a decopauged serving tray using grape labels. There are so many possibilities. Peggy you have been in my prayers and I am glad you are starting to recover. Have a happy day everyone!

I know for one, I will photocopy the apple one onto ivory colored paper for posters to use in decorating our "APPLE STAND" Quick Stop at the AVON Walk of Breast Cancer this year. I am Crew Captain for "CELTIC HEARTS" which is our family team for the event. Up until this year it has only been my daughter, Robin and myself. This year we were able to recruit two of my nieces to join us. We will be the crew at one of the Quick Stops which is where water, Gatorade and portapotties are available for walkers along the route.
Because we are family and because of the farm/orchard heritage of my family we are going with the name of our family farm "GARDNERS DIAMOND-T FARM & ORCHARDS" and doing an APPLE STAND. Aiming to keep it kinda vintage/retro looking . . . we raised apples by the millions.
Anyway, I don't want to use the actual labels because they will get destroyed in the outdoors. They are big so they'll make GREAT posters!
(I just wish they Colorado apples . . oh well!)

Other than that, no definite ideas . . yet!

Good Morning Linda and Joan,
I received both your packages Monday. Had little visitors yesterday so didn't have an oppurtunity to get on here and let you know. Loved them both.

Julie, my package that I sent you was returned to me today. It says address unknown, please e-mail me with the address again, cause dumb ole me, deleted it after I went to post office and mailed it.
So sorry for the confusion. I don't know what I wrote wrong, but it must be something. Waiting to hear from you. thanks Linda Farmgirl #946
