I agree with Laurie....this is going to be a really fun swap, but we need to get ideas from our partners on what they would like, for example if they like a favorite author....which of their books they have not already read. Or, if it's a cookbook.....name a few and then surprise them. In any case, we should find out our partners likes and dislikes book wise!
It's going to be great fun!

[green]Thats fine...like your ideas. Once partners are posted you can ask them what they have read...Also if they would want the book back or you may keep it to pass on for future novel swaps.[/green]Happy Trails

Looking forward to the swap and I agree we should let our partner know what we read, have already read, favorite authors, just likes and dislikes.
What fun we will have.

Joan, I'd be willing to partner with Vera Ellen, I won't be able to start this until later. If that's okay with you!

Hi Megan, Actually Vera-Ellen will be available for the swap in the middle of March, so if that's ok with you and her I will pair you as partners.

I'll try this one! :) Nice to find a swap that I don't have to craft anything right now!

Hi Joan, any idea about when you might post partners?

I would be interested in this swap as well. And ladies as a hint, if you dont put ANYTHING else in the envelope, (you might be able to slide by with a short note on a piece of paper inside the book, no envelope) you can send this through the post office as MEDIA MAIL. It takes a little longer to get there, but can save you quite a bit of money if its a heavier book.

I'm in and have just the book! BTW, don't include a note Dianne. I did that for two books for my brother and included a little Happy Birthday note and they sent them back to me and made me pay$26.00 for shipping!

Morning, Joan, count me in as well dear friend. Going to take the books out of my "Goodwill" donations boxes and see if I will be able to use them for this instead. Besides, have two bookcases full of boxes I could swap. Thanks so much for doing this, Joan.

I can't say "thank you enough" for making this a great swap. To my dear friend Annie "wonderful that you have a box full of books". Maybe we can do this again down the road so you can recycle those books you have :)
