Can anyone please please please tell me where to find a slicer like the one in the current issue at the beginning of the cast iron section? I've been looking for one online, but I guess I'm not looking for the right thing. Help anyone??

I'd love to find one, too! Aren't they wonderful? My parents had one, but my oldest sister has it now. Good luck on your search.

I already checked out Lehman's. SO surprising that they didn't have one. They have a few man powered slicers, but not an upright one that attaches to the counter. I used one of these at a deli shop I worked at, and it sliced and shredded stuff so nicely. It would make processing garden stuff so much easier. I'd love to find one.
