Dear Farmgirl Mail Artists,
I am so glad that everyone is having so much fun sending each other mail art. It has been fun to organize and all of you are so helpful in keeping it going! Thank you so much to each of you for your patience and enthusiasm and I hope you will have just as much fun in September.
For our September Mail Art Exchange, we will be using the theme of thrifty fun / shabby chic. The idea is to reuse items around you to make your mail art. I think as farmgirls, reusing is a big part of our business, be it meatloaf leftovers, an extra gallon of paint, seeds from last year, or the garden table you plucked from your neighbor's trash (score!). It would be neat to reflect that industrious spirit in our mail art. The theme is optional of course; please make whatever tickles your fancy!

Please have your mail art in the mail by SEPTEMBER 15th!

I received your September Mail Art yesterday. I loved the altered journal. I am a gardener and the garden gloves and radish seeds will be another fall project for me. I will try to send pics next week on this site. I really liked the way you used Scrabble tiles on the journal. I have not received an email if I am to send you Sept mail art or someone else. I am working on my Sept mail art and will be ready to send out next week. I guess the spam folder got it. Thanks again.
