1.) Talents people have. I thought of this while looking at my 2 new beautiful aprons from CJ!
2.) Ground! The snow is melted, the weather is warmer, and I can SEE GROUND!
3.) Listening to all of the birds singing their songs while sitting outside. |

1.) Waking up and smiling at my still sleeping hubby =}
2.) Finding that the buds on the plum trees have opened a wee bit and the little leaves are peeking out!
3.) That for the most part the medical, emotional and financial issues with my family and friends has passed

Today's 3 simple Blessings...
1. DH brewing the 1st pot of Java in the morning and serving it with a kiss.
2. Hearing "snoring" coming from my Peekaboo kitty, who is sleeping soundly next to me as I read.
3. Smelling the fresh rain today as it waters my 5 acres....

1.Getting to spend time with my favorite person. My mother. I love her and am so thankful her and my step dad moved up here so I can see her so much more now. I love my momma. We've been going to a little Bible study together on Thursdays.
2. Coming inside to a warm house after being outside in the cold wet muddy barnyards.
3. Knowing all my animals are fed and happy again.

Wow..I have always had a grateful and appreciative nature. So much so, my mom once told me, "I think I may have done you a diservice in raising you with such simple expectations..it takes so little to make you happy." But I am glad I am able to be joyful and mostly derive enjoyment from the natural world around me. Eventhough I am glad for many improvements and goodies of the modern world that I have in my life, I still everyday realize just how wonderful it is to have what Maslow would call the basic needs on his hierarchy. These three things as time goes by becomes so much more apparent on how luxurious life can be when you have 1)Food 2)Shelter 3)Water. I rest easy at night because I have been blessed with these. Hardwork and responsibility do not always bring these gifts to your door, so I am extra grateful.

1- A good picture, that somehow makes all the struggles and stress worth it.
2- A plan for a 24 Hour FAMILY adventure.
3- Friends who offer to help without being asked.

Little green things popping up in ALL the rows I have planted so far!!! I just love to see seeds sprouting and reaching for the sunshine. And knowing that pretty soon, I'll have fresh veggies to take to market again.
