For this rainy Thursday:

1. A good night sleep--my little one slept like a rock in her new big girl bed.

2. Dear friends who will help me with my taxes because my tax lady apparently fell of the face of the earth.

3. So grateful for my gifts of family, friends, shelter, food. I don't need much more than this.

Krisitna,
We all should have a front porch like yours!
We are lucky people. When we think of positive blessings, both large and small, in our lives they seem to multiply around us.

2) A cardinal chirping away this morning on the wisteria vines.
3) Medical procedures that, although they are most unpleasant, really do help make life better.

Sharon - They call it the Pitts-burgher Cheese Steak and OHMYWORD! Too yum. (Not too healthy, though, I'm afraid! LOL!) I can't eat these more than one or two times a year, but I really do relish them when we do! This article tells it all - you can see the sandwich itself if you scroll down the page a bit, and it's description is just below that! (Make sure you read above the pic, too, so you know why they say it's the #2 Best Seller! LOL!)

http://pennwich.wordpress.com/2012/02/26/primanti-bros-pittsburgher-cheese-steak/

My hubby does NOT like coleslaw, but Primanti's is very different - it really makes the sandwich! - it's the only way he'll eat it! Personally, I don't think the sandwich it is complete without Ketchup, another Pittsburgh staple from Heinz - WHICH, by the way, was originally promoted by H.J Heinz as a side dish! LOL!

It's just a Pittsburgh classic. If you ever come to Pittsburgh - it's an absolute must have! :) My husband calls it the "world's most delicious gastronomical nightmare!" LOL! Indeed!

Hugs -

Starting Tina Fey's book "Bossypants", loaned from a friend and laughing (a LOT) after a particularly stressful day and night.

Carbs and an "untraditional" breakfast--sometimes a girl just needs a Servati's salt pretzel with garlic cheese.

Lunch with my husband and my girl. I'm counting down the hours until I see them--it's been one of those weeks!

1. my DH was able to get his friend to a doctor, contact his brother and start helping him with figuring out his finances that apparently have been a mess since his stroke.
2. DD and her guy asked us to come along to look at a house today, seems like a great deal.
3. looking forward to our son's job interview on Monday, it would be such a relief if he has a job lined up before graduation!

Seeing my "Christmas" cactus blooming on the windowsill.
A nice cup of tea and enjoying a sit on the porch with dh.
Knowing the grands will be coming over later on.
