I was just sitting here, thinking what a nice day it has been. We quietly celebrated Mother's Day here at home. My son gave me a lovely hibiscus that I hope I'll be able to plant soon, weather permitting. I gave my mom a purse she has had her eye on for awhile. We went to see my grandma and bring her flowers for her front walk. I had hoped to be able to plant them for her today, but it was just too windy. Maybe this coming weekend will be better. Anyway, it got me thinking. I was very lucky to have many wonderful women in my life. I know there are mothers out there who, for one reason or another, are not celebrating today. So Im asking everyone to say a special prayer for those mothers today. The mothers who have lost their way. Lord, help them get back on track and do right in life. The mothers who, for whatever reason, aren't able to be with their children. Please help them reconnect with their babies. The women who are trying to become mothers. Please bless them with the awesome gift that you've given so many of us here. Lastly, for those who technically aren't mothers, but who are a light in a child's life. Please help them keep doing what they are doing, because they are more important than they may ever know. I know this is a bit long, but thanks for reading. Happy Mother's Day!
