I would like to sign up to have pen pals, I am a 59 year old Nana to 12 grandchildren. I live 8 miles west of
Custer, SD, on 9.44 acres of beautiful land. I love to sew, quilt, paint w/ acrylics and oils, cross stitch.
My husband and I have 6 dogs,4 cats and 12 chickens. I love animals. We are getting ready to sell our place.

Can I join! This sounds like fun.
I'm 28 SAHM with 2 active children and 2 dogs in western Missouri. I love anything that involves thread of any kind. We are gluten free to the extreme out of necessity. I've started gardening, but I don't have much experience (I kill anything in a pot). Me and my husband dream of our own farm. Oh and I am going to be picking up a traditional bow pretty soon and trying to hunt at some point. Not sure if I can actually kill anything than those pesky squirrels and rabbits that eat my vegetables and sunflowers. |

I would like a pen pal. I'm almost 65, soon to be retired. I have two grandchildren and a bunch of steps. I have 13 chickens and live on 8 acres with my best friend, Jay who is a trucker. We grow most of our vegetables in the summer. I cross stitch and am looking forward to the time to try many other crafts. I live in the Virginia mountains. I fly fish, love hiking and bird watching. We have two very demanding cats.

I'm a 40 year old working mom of 4. My "day job" is a music teacher, but I also run a dance studio on the side and help DH out on our farm. We have two properties with cows, sheep and chickens (and maybe adding rabbits soon!). In my spare time, when I have it, I love to read, craft, and hang out with my family. We live in mid-Michigan.

As most everyone knows we moved last August. We bought a 1865 farmhouse in Maine. I have 17.1 acres of land, a fruit orchard, pine trees, and 4 fields for gardening. I love to garden, sew, crochet, some sewing. Where we moved to they are big into quilts even with a quilt guild. I will probably join come spring as this is my first Maine winter. I am 60 going on 30 at least that is how I feel these days.

I would love to sign up for this! I am a 30-year-old, Christian, Canadian, country girl who loves gardening, playing the piano, and crafting (I've tried just about everything!) I also love hiking, camping, and sitting in the woods reading! I work as a Unit Clerk at the local hospital and am currently taking an online course in Professional Organizing.

I would like to be added! I am twenty four and I live on my parent's hobby farm in Virginia. I work at an agriculture supply store. I enjoy reading, writing, knitting, horseback riding, sailing, rescueing cats,traveling, and backpacking. I am currently working on a paralegal degree.

I got the list! I'm just curious because some of the descriptions people wrote have old dates in them. I looked up the user names of the people I am interested in writing in on here and some of them haven't been active on the site in over a year. It would be sad to write to them and get no reply because they aren't a part of the Sisterhood anymore. Maybe people who have added their names to list a long time ago can check in and let you know if they are still interested?
