hi gals...i'm looking for blue jeans that aren't worth even cutting off for shorts- more specifically, I need the back pockets and some surrounding fabric...
also always looking for rick rack and bias tape-
oh and I use cancelled postage stamps for things....
what can I do for you? i'm not crafty but maybe I can find/do something?

Hi Margo. I have two jean pockets and parts of jean material. I also have some seam binding tape, bias tape in red and some in white, some Soutache braid in red and black and a twill tape and small black rick rack, Do you need any snaps or zippers?
If you would like these I would be happy to send it to you. If you barter I would be happy with a state magnet or post cards from your area.

I have read thru all these posts and I am fascinated with all the materials/items everyone is "always looking for". I would love to see photos of the items in use.
Hay there,
I am a quilter and am looking for scraps of cotton fabric. small is ok coz I'm working on hexagons. I also collect the strings from dog food and animal food bags .... the cotton string (not coated with wax), some are red and black and those are great also.
Also looking for embroidery threads.....knotted bundles are ok too.
I will try to send whatever you want for a barter item ... just drop a note in the envelope and I will be on the look out.
Great idea for a barter board.

I used to collect strings from animal food bags too. I wanted to use it for teenie-tiny macramé plant hangers or in crochet. I wonder where it is now.

Hey everyone. I'm looking for pop tabs. We don't drink soda pop anymore, but I would love to make a crocheted purse using the tabs from pop cans. I need 450 to make one purse and I only have about 70 tabs.
If anyone would be willing to save some for me, I would appreciate it. I have lots of things to barter with.

And I just updated mine. The new items are pretty obvious - on top of the list and say *NEW ITEM*. I also made a note that the item you request in return can be negotiable. So many of us make handmade dishcloths, and sew, etc. We can always find a reasonable return item that will be mutually agreeable!
